This adorable family is one I have known for many years, and it was a great experience capturing the many expressions of their growing family. The kids were in good spirits as they ate lots of jelly beans in exchange for smiles. They are a pretty photogenic bunch, and I hope they enjoy these photos capturing this stage in their children's lives.

Twice as Nice - Elgin, IL Photographer

This lovely family is one I've had the pleasure of photographing before, and is one that will be "twice as nice" in a few months as Angela is due with twins! They are clearly a family with a lot of love to go around, and were encouraging and helping one another throughout our time that day. Cute as Can Bee - St. Charles, IL Photographer

This photo shoot was one full of energy as we began by photographing the family with their two dogs. It was a hot day, but they were all in good spirits as we walked to various locations throughout St. Mary's Park. We ended up along the Fox River, a beautiful backdrop for some mommy/daughter photos. Little {C} has the most gorgeous brown eyes and curly hair, and stole the show even while keeping a straight face.

Southern Charm - Batavia, IL Photographer

This family of three were great to work with, and so sweet and gracious despite the cooler temps. They have recently moved here from the south and have enjoyed making the midwest their home. Their daughter was a very mature 3 year old and cute as a button. A few of her fun expressions and personality came out in the photos. Enjoy "J" Family!

The Big Island Family - Wheaton, IL Photographer

It was a sunny, cool day at Cantigny when I had the opportunity of photographing this extended family of 14. It was a little daunting, I'll admit, but all 8 kids did amazingly well for a full two-hour shoot! These two families haven't seen each other in years as one lives in Wheaton and the other in Africa, so you can tell by the cousins gestures of love towards one another how much they were enjoying being together. They have had the privilege of getting together on "The Big Island" as grandpa and grandma lived there for quite a few years, but the midwest's mild spring weather and Cantigny's natural beauty made for a beautiful backdrop on this occasion. Hope you all can enjoy these photos and your love for one another as you look at them and remember your fun weeks together as a family.

These two brothers are the cutest little guys! They have little angelic features and bubbly, friendly personalities to match. These were mainly to capture the little guy who missed out on newborn photos and wanted to catch up a bit in the photo dept. but his big bro got in a few too! Enjoy these sweet little guys...

Lovely January Day - Geneva, IL Photographer

It was such a great thing to be able to take photos of this extended family outside in January! The unseasonably warm weather and beautiful late afternoon sun made for the perfect backdrop at Peck Farm in Geneva.
