The Big Island Family - Wheaton, IL Photographer

It was a sunny, cool day at Cantigny when I had the opportunity of photographing this extended family of 14. It was a little daunting, I'll admit, but all 8 kids did amazingly well for a full two-hour shoot! These two families haven't seen each other in years as one lives in Wheaton and the other in Africa, so you can tell by the cousins gestures of love towards one another how much they were enjoying being together. They have had the privilege of getting together on "The Big Island" as grandpa and grandma lived there for quite a few years, but the midwest's mild spring weather and Cantigny's natural beauty made for a beautiful backdrop on this occasion.
